Tears of Africa

How long will your cries go unheeded by your children?,how long must you endure the mockery of your peers,who came from miles around with smiles of friendship and words of love but leave with their eyes full of hatred and wicked frowns of disgust after they had their way with you. They stripped you bare of your treasures,your culture and dignity and replace it with torn garments of war,anarchy and desolation. Who will hear the cries of Africa?,who will comfort her grieving heart?,who will console her for her loss?.Her cries are echoed over the kilimanjaro and across the Lake Victoria calling to her children to come back,the sweet call of return"Sankofa". Her children kill themselves in greed under the gaize of democracy,yet under all this pain i see a glimmer of hope for the future,with tears of joy in her eyes she will call out to her children who will come running into her bosom to propel her from her shame into her fame,with sounds of joy she will rise like the phoenix from her ashes to the new birth.The new birth of Africa By:Courage Blaq®......
